each year and holds fundraising activities for field trips and scholarships.
The Science Club seniors go on a special trip every year. In past years,
seniors have traveled to Florida to view sights such as Kennedy Space Center,
EPCOT Center, MGM Universal Studios, as well as Disney World. Members were
guided on a special tour at Disney World, receiving explanations and
demonstrations of the technology used to make the theme park a reality to the
viewer. The club also funds scholarships for graduating seniors.

Mock Trial
Mock Trial is a project that provides a team of three lawyers and three
witnesses the opportunity to argue their case in front of a judge and jury. The
roles of judge and jury are played by area judges and lawyers. The teams are
given a fact situation, witnesses' affidavits, and evidence. The teams are
assigned a side of the argument, either Prosecution or Defense. With these
tools, each team attempts to successfully defend or prosecute the defendant.
The jury then awards points and a victory to the prevailing team.
